BECOME: Wild Ages 13-15
For the boy in the middle of the storm.
What's Inside
The Token — A Custom Matchstrike Tin:
Engraved with his name or a single word his family chooses.
A match is struck by someone who isn't afraid of the dark. You carry light even in the hard seasons.
The Ceremony Element — A Hand-Poured Beeswax Candle:
Used during the ceremony itself. Your family lights it at the opening. He lights it again — with his own tin — at the peak of the ceremony. His first act with his new token.
The Challenge — The Solo Walk or Night Alone:
The Ceremony — The Wild Rite:
Intimate and powerful. Just your family. No guests. Six steps that build to the moment he strikes his first match and lights the candle himself for the first time.
The Marking:
A declaration he reads aloud to his family at the ceremony. Written in first person — his words, his voice, his crossing. One of the most powerful moments in the entire BECOME collection.
The Parent Letter:
Honest, direct, and written for the hardest season. Ready to read aloud — or use the prompts inside to write something personal.
The Interview:
Ten questions written specifically for a boy ages 13–15. His exact words written down. Sealed in an envelope alongside any previous Become envelopes. Kept until his next milestone.
How It Works
01 — Order his box
Add to cart and complete checkout. You'll be asked for his name and the word for his engraved token.
02 — We assemble by hand
Every Become: Wild box is assembled specifically for your son. His tin is engraved with his name or chosen word. Allow 3–4 weeks for assembly and shipping.
03 — He completes his challenge
When the box arrives give him the challenge card. He chooses the Solo Walk or the Night Alone — or both if he's ready. Give him time to complete it before the ceremony. Don't ask too many questions when he comes back. Let him carry what he learned.
04 — Complete the interview
Sometime during his birthday week find a quiet moment — just the two of you. Ask him the ten questions. Write down his exact words. Seal the envelope. Tuck it back in the box.
05 — Hold the ceremony
One evening. Just your family. No phones. Follow the ceremony card step by step. Let him share what he learned on the challenge. Read the letter. Place the tin in his hands. Let him light the candle himself.
06 — He reads The Marking
Hand him the card. Let him read it aloud to the family. Let the room be quiet while he does.
07 — He names what he's leaving behind
One word. One sentence. Whatever is true for him. The family receives it in silence. No response needed. Just witness.
08 — Mark the moment
He walks away from that evening having done something hard, been seen completely, spoken his own declaration, and received a token that is his alone.
That is not a birthday party. That is a crossing.
